Nongovernmental organization working to save, change, improve, and rebuild the communities in Africa begins in the Eastern Region particularly South Sudan through education, health/healthcare, WASH, and economic opportunities.
Now we are fighting for improving lives and provide necessities and basics even though we are leaning towards beyond survival ideal, but we tend to empowering and facilitating community development through various initiatives, activities, projects, and programs including community health/healthcare infrastructure, educational resources, tools, economic empowerment, and even willing to address the entrepreneurial/small business development that we believe will elevate the communities across the South Sudan and beyond.
ASDA brings real hope, better lives and sustainable development solutions upon improving livelihoods and communities’ development in Africa, specifically providing services and opportunities, including: establishing, developing and bringing health/health care services, safety, health awareness (sanitation, mosquito repellents, mosquito netting, water diseases, and clean water), communication, education, economic initiatives (commerce, micro-businesses, microfinance system), developing agricultural farms to reduce hunger and food insecurity, accelerated educational programs and youth/adult empowerment, transportation networking services, housing infrastructures, and power and energy that will provide lights, electric grids and electricity grids for displaced returning refugees and local vulnerable, devastated and under-served communities.
To be effective, we plan to tackle one or two projects at once, depending our financial resources even though we do have the capacity [manpower] for more.
It is our belief that providing the basic necessities of life, developing the individual skills of the returning refugees and local communities providing resources and educational opportunities their communities will grow stronger and their children will be afforded more diverse opportunities in their adult lives as the initial moves then we really want to focusing on beyond survival but thrive and elevate individuals and communities toward personal development and community development in order to be self-sustaining and efficent.
We’re a new NGO not because we are brand new, but rather because we are unknown out there compared to the smaller and bigger NGOs who are out there that don’t extremely addressing or doing less actions in fighting for grinding poverty.
What we do know though is that we are a committed, passionate, dedicated and diverse workforce team who get things done. We are professionals who believe that we can make impact in our world beginning with those in the war-torn, remote, rural, devastated, suffering, and under-served communities in the Greater Upper Nile and elsewhere in South Sudan and Africa.
