Overview

ASDA (N) fights for eradicating extreme poverty where people in the rural communities and underserved communities whose are affected by conflict, war, and abject poverty can have hope, not only that, but could be elevated when they have resources, tools, opportunities and empowered to think of themselves then take action. Our purpose is to improve lives, livelihoods and facilitate community development, especially for people who are displaced and locals who are vulnerable, devastated and belong to under-served communities (ones that live under extreme poverty) in the remote rural areas, regions and communities in Africa, begins in South Sudan, and to create a world with access to services, necessities, opportunities, quality of life and better standards of living.

Our Mission & Vision

We as the ASDA’s team our ultimate goal is to alleviate sufferings, devastation, and abject poverty where many parts of South Sudan and/or “Africa” in general do not have infrastructures in place, no access to drinking clean water, no access to schooling, no school facilities, no access to medical clinics, hospitals, lacking other basic necessities of life, nor food insecurity

Mission

ASDA (N)’s mission is to contribute to the community improvement, up-lifted, be resourceful, and facilitate the community development effectively and efficiently of what we believe are the primary pillars of a prosperous community: health/healthcare, education, WASH, food security, and economic opportunities in Africa, which begins in South Sudan.

Another way to put is this: See African people’s communities live healthily, be educated, feed themselves, lead, and take responsibility for the communities or nation’s problems, which results be learned, innovative, thriving, self-reliant, self-sufficient, self-sustaining, and independent.

Together, with our partners, peer educators, youths, community leaders, faith-based groups, and other stakeholders especially when working together for the common goal and common good for people in which we will continue to identify and implement culturally relevant methods of building strong foundations for each pillar.

Our Philosophy/What We Believe

Everyone talks about change and helping those who are vulnerable, devastated and perhaps suffering and wanting to making impact in the world even the bigger organizations whose who have the resources, capacity, and money, yet there is a less improvements and no much life-changing nor livelihoods improvement, why?

Our Core Beliefs, Values & Philosophy

We’re a real grassroots NGO that believes that we can, should and will rock the world by fighting to reduce and perhaps eradicate the extreme poverty. We believe that the inhabitants, refugees, displaced persons, or local populations who are now lacking basic standards of living in many areas, regions and communities in developing nations particularly Africa can have hope and turn their lives around into beautiful areas, with better lives and better standings of living for themselves, communities and the world.

It probably worsening and more devastating in Africa’s remote and rural communities because people in those places are in fact double- and even triple-entrapped (e.g. East Africa Region), not only there but in many areas and regions across the Africa and beyond.

Also, we certainly don’t believe waiting for things to happen nor follow footsteps of other organizations, foundations and agencies in terms of doing things behind close door. We want to be different organization that people not only will say wow, ‘I’ or ‘we’ them [us] but also would want to invest their resources on us because of what do will positively impact a world that we plan to rock in the practical, transparency, accountability, efficiency, sufficiency, integrity and set example.

We will dare you and everyone to get involved now in our grassroots organization moment or support us. Once again, we just cannot abide the idea of waiting for things to kick in or miracle or someone nor an institution or institutions to come in to make things better.

Truly, we believe and mean it that to bring real improvements, positive changes and sustainable development solutions to the absolutely poor communities, it requires resources, manpower [people], leadership, and right models or strategies in terms of deliverable and implementation policies.

This is few of our platforms and approaches that we will advocate and educate those who want to serve and bring better life in their torn, devastated and extremely grinding poverty that they’ve been entrapping for decades.

Our Attitudes
